Anxiety & Helping Someone Cope.
I didn’t want to make it overwhelming or too long remember, so I kept it to the main points that benefit me greatly when I’m experiencing an attack.
40 million of Americans alone suffer with anxiety; it’s a horrid feeling when you know someone just wants to help you but you cannot even construct a simple sentence at the time, so please share this in hope that it benefits even just 1 person. Muchos love.
Guys this is so important! Please read.

“And if you call me at 4 am, too sad to even say hello, I will listen to your silence until you fall asleep. If you need to cry I will not wipe your tears away because you are only human and sometimes tears are as close to laughter as you can get and that’s okay. If you get sleepy I will let you drool on my arm and I won’t laugh at you if you snore too loud. If you need to yell so hard that your voice cracks and your knees fail I will hold you up and yell with you. If you get so angry you punch your hands red I will ice your knuckles and tell you that wounds heal both inside and out, and just like the cold that is harsh and burning, I will always be the warmth to soothe you and make you feel better. I will love you.”

“with depression, everything will be sad. every Christmas, birthday, wedding, will be ruined for you by your own sadness. you must accept this. you will get a sinking feeling in your stomach sometimes and lose all energy. you will feel sick for no reason at all and stay in bed all day. you will be cranky and rude to the people you love most without knowing why yourself. this is all true, and you need to know that it isn’t your fault, it’s your disease. these are symptoms of something sick. it isn’t you.”
